McKendree Donates Computer Tables to Lebanon High School
Lebanon, Ill. — Computer lab tables were moved from one Lebanon campus to another
recently, as McKendree University donated classroom furniture to Lebanon High School.
The university’s Information Technology Department is replacing the work stations,
which have space for 35 computers, said the director of information technology.
They will be installed at the high school in Classroom LAB 20 by teacher Marsha Schmittling’s
Computers & Business Concepts I & II students.
“We are very proud to partner with such a wonderful university who is committed to
supporting the community and assisting the local school district,” said Leigh Jackson,
LHS principal.
McKendree will replace the furniture and put flat screen monitors in Room 120 of Piper
Academic Center. The classroom will also get a fresh coat of paint and new carpeting
before students return in August.
