McKendree University to Host Job Fair, Open House on Oct. 26
(RADCLIFF, Ky., October 11, 2016) — Learn how to advance your career as you meet potential
employers and enjoy a free lunch at McKendree University’s open house and job fair
on Wednesday, Oct. 26. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Radcliff campus
on 1635 West Lincoln Trail Blvd. The event is free and open to the community.
Learn about local job opportunities, university admission and financial aid counseling.
Resume consultation will be available at no charge. Three 30-minute career development
seminars will be offered:
- 11:30 a.m. to noon: Professionalism 101 - Christian Blome, McKendree University Executive Director
- 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.: Choosing a New Career Path - Carter Dyson, Kentucky Career Center - One Stop Director
- 1 to 1:30 p.m.: How to Stand Out in a Competitive Market - Donna Ulrich, McKendree University Instructor of Human Resource Management
Employers participating in the career fair will be Lowe’s, Sun Tan City, Bluegrass Cellular, Brandenburg Telephone Co., Elizabethtown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Publisher’s Printing, Hardin Memorial Hospital, Gordon Food Service, The Wolf 94.3, WQXE Quicksie 98.3, WLVK Big Cat 105.5, Fort Knox Federal Credit Union, FiveStar, Spartan Staffing and Waffle House. The event will also include lunch, Kona Ice snow cones, and a T-shirt giveaway.
