United States Air Force Band of Mid-America to Perform at the Hett July 26
(LEBANON, Ill., June 28, 2022) – The United States Air Force Band of Mid-America is
slated to perform on Tuesday, July 26 at 7 p.m. at the Hettenhausen Center for the
Arts at McKendree University. The exceptional program is free to attend. Reservations
are recommended.
The program for the evening will include a selection of delightful pieces including
“The Dauntless Battalion” by John Philip Sousa, “Georgia on My Mind” featuring Caleb
Brinkley, “Symphonic Dances” from West Side Story, “Prayer for Ukraine” arranged by
Master Sgt. Martin, “With Malice Toward None” by John Williams, featuring Drew Pritchard,
and many more.
“Connecting our community to live arts experiences is our top priority,” said Liz
Crabtree, director of the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts. “We are grateful for the
partnership with Scott Air Force Base, which allows us this shared experience.”
The United States Air Force Band of Mid-America has a long history of entertaining
the American public and promoting esprit de corps within the military. The unit strives
to inspire the hearts and minds of our men and women serving around the world and
to tell the Air Force story through the universal language of music. Each year, the
Band of Mid-America performs for millions of people throughout a ten-state region
