Kappa Sigma Tau
Kappa Sigma Tau was established in 1974 as a national sorority called Gamma Sigma Sigma. In 1992, we were re-established as Kappa Sigma Tau, the largest local social sorority at McKendree.
We value Sisterhood, Service, and Academic Excellence. Our colors are maroon & white. Our flower is the white rose.
If you are interested in pledging Kappa Sigma Tau or want to know more about our sorority,
please contact our President, Geri Ellis at gaellis@mckendree.edu or kappa_sigma_tau@hotmail.com.
“The purpose of Kappa Sigma Tau is to help one discover who she is as a strong woman, a fearless leader, and a loyal friend. Through sisterhood, equality, and academic excellence, the women of Kappa Sigma Tau will strive to always be positive role models on the McKendree University campus and implement these values in their everyday lives.”
