About the William McKendree Society
Named after Bishop William McKendree, the first American-born bishop in the Methodist
Church and founder of McKendree University, the William McKendree Society is truly
the heart of our fundraising efforts.
The William McKendree Society honors the loyalty and generosity expressed by our dedicated
supporters through annual gifts to McKendree University. Members continue a rich tradition
of giving to help McKendree provide a distinctive, high quality education to outstanding
students.
