Scholarships Available for McKendree AiM Program in Waterloo
Save $500 on Business Classes Taught at City Hall
(LEBANON, Ill., September 2, 2014) — The Monroe County Economic Development Council
(MCEDC) is offering $500 scholarships to residents who enroll in McKendree University
business classes taught at Waterloo City Hall.
The Accelerated Instruction with McKendree (AiM) program is for adults who have some
college credits and wish to complete their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
degree. Its blended format combines online and face-to-face instruction by McKendree
professors. Majors are offered in business administration, human resource management,
management or marketing.
Classes are taught at Waterloo City Hall on Thursday evenings. By taking two courses
during each eight-week session, it is possible to complete the program in two years.
Any Monroe County resident enrolled in the AiM program for the 2014-2015 academic
year as a first-time McKendree University student may apply for one of 15 $500 scholarships
($250 per course) from the MCEDC.
