and Kappa Lambda Iota (CLIO) invite the community to attend the finals of the 12th annual McKendree Idol competition on Wednesday, April 1. The event will begin at
8:30 p.m. at the Hettenhausen Center for The Arts on campus. Tickets are available
at the box office and are $5 for general admission and $2 for students. Proceeds will
benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Fund.
During the finale, two songs will be performed by each finalist, Clay Bitter, Megan
Schmidt and Tyler Jewel. However, there is a surprise twist this year… come to find
out which contestant received the highest donations to be redeemed from a previous
round! In the Hett lobby, members of the Campus Activities Board and CLIO will be
selling t-shirts to continue fundraising for Susan G. Komen. To date, McKendree Idol
has donated over $12,000 to support breast cancer awareness and research.
