Pop-Country Band Lonestar, Former Blue’s Clues’ Host Steve Burns Coming to the Hett This November
(LEBANON, Ill., October 25, 2022) – The Hettenhausen Center for the Arts (the Hett) at McKendree University will be hosting two popular acts during the month
of November, pop-country band Lonestar and Steve Burns, the former host of the popular
children’s television show Blue’s Clues. For tickets or more information on all shows,

Nov. 4, 7:30 p.m.: Lonestar’s 1999 album Lonely Grill spawned four number-one hits, including the smash
hit “Amazed,” and established them as music’s preeminent pop-country band. The band
has won many of music’s top honors, including Academy of Country Music awards for
New Vocal Group in 1996, Single and Song of the Year in 2000, and Humanitarian of
the Year in 2002. Lonestar has sold more than 10.5 million records since their formation.
On their forthcoming TEN to 1 record, Lonestar will be taking a fresh look at all
10 of their chart-topping country songs.
Nov. 9, 6 p.m.: Steve Burns, the original host of the children’s television program Blue’s Clues,
comes to the Hett stage to present “What Happened to Steve?” as part of the Distinguished
Speaker Series. With his heartfelt and open approach, Burns will share what happened
to him after he left the show, including the successes and failures he has experienced
along the way. Audiences can expect an insightful, authentic and uplifting event.
