SBD Business Honor Society Inducts 30 New Members at McKendree
(LEBANON, Ill., April 27, 2016) — The McKendree University chapter of Sigma Beta Delta
welcomed 30 new members at an induction ceremony and dinner hosted by the School of Business on April 26. The international business honor society recognizes students for superior
academic performance in accounting, business administration, economics and finance,
management, and marketing.
McKendree is a charter chapter of Sigma Beta Delta, which was founded in 1994. Its
Greek letters represent wisdom, honor and the pursuit of meaningful aspirations.
Lauren Putbrese, a senior sport management major from Xenia, Ill., received the 2016 Northwestern Mutual Outstanding Student Award.
The School of Business Student Service Award went to Morgan Maberry, a senior human resource management major from Bethalto, Ill.
