The Department of Human Resources and Payroll works to ensure the relationship between the University and its employees is respectful, fair, and provides equal treatment and opportunities to all.
Our office is located at 716 College Rd, Lebanon, IL, in the Stevenson House.
Our service hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During these hours, HR and Payroll staff are available to assist employees, students, and other members of the University community with questions and support.
Student Onboarding Hours: Student onboarding is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Students completing employment onboarding are encouraged to visit during these designated times to ensure staff are available to assist with required employment documentation and onboarding steps.

Reporting Concerns
Any University employee who has a reasonable concern or suspicion regarding improper, unethical, or unlawful conduct is encouraged to report the matter promptly. Employees may report concerns to their immediate supervisor, the next appropriate level of management, the Vice President responsible for the area, or the Department of Human Resources.
Employees are not required to report a concern to an individual who is involved in the matter or when doing so would cause the employee to feel uncomfortable. Employees may use any of the reporting options identified in this policy based on the circumstances.
Confidential Reporting Options

Protection Against Retaliation
McKendree University prohibits retaliation against any individual who, in good faith, reports a concern, raises a question regarding compliance or ethical conduct, or participates in an investigation. Any suspected retaliation should be reported promptly through any of the reporting options identified above.
Reports will be reviewed and addressed as promptly and appropriately as possible based on the nature and circumstances of the concern.
