U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 “Best Colleges” edition continued to rank McKendree University in the top tier of Midwest regional
universities. McKendree remains a Tier 1 institution among the Best Regional Universities
in the Midwest.
McKendree University has been designated a 2020-2021 “Military Friendly School” by Victory Media, which sets standards for higher education institutions to provide
positive opportunities for veterans.
The University was the sole Illinois institution to be designated one of “America’s 100 Best College Buys®”, for providing the highest quality education at the lowest cost. The University has earned the distinction numerous times since 1997.
Innovative learning opportunities earned recognition among the nation’s “Colleges of Distinction” for excellence in student-focused higher education.
For the third consecutive year, McKendree was listed among the top 100 “Best Online Programs” in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report. The online bachelor’s degree program, graduate education program, and graduate nursing programs are listed in the top 100 in their respective categories. The MBA program is in the top 150.
