Illinois Education Association Aspiring Educators
IEA Aspiring Educators is a professional organization for students preparing for careers in education. Members gain access to statewide networking, classroom liability insurance, workshops, publications, and career resources. McKendree’s chapter hosts monthly meetings, mentorship programs, campus workshops, and community outreach events, including McKendree Conference Day.

Kappa Delta Pi
KDP is an international honor society in education that recognizes academic excellence and fosters leadership, scholarship, and service. Eligible students must have completed at least six credit hours of education coursework and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Members receive access to exclusive resources, professional development, publications, and networking opportunities. Upon graduation, members are honored with a certificate and honor cord. McKendree’s chapter participates in service projects, campus events, and activities that support and celebrate future educators.
