Flexible Course Format
McKendree’s MAED in Higher Education Administrative Services is delivered entirely
online using the course management system Brightspace. All classes are offered in
an eight-week format. Students take one course during each eight-week session and
finish the program in two years.

Tuition
The tuition for the Higher Education Administrative Services degree is $510 per credit
hour. All online courses have a $70 per credit hour technology fee. Total cost is
$580 per credit hour for the online program.
Application Process
McKendree University admits students who present evidence of their potential to complete
graduate level work. Applicants are considered on an individual basis without regard
to sex, race, disability, nationality, sexual orientation, or religion. The following
documentation is required for consideration of admission:
1. A completed graduate admission application (no fee).
2. A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
3. Official transcripts from each college or university attended. Official transcripts are those sent from institution to institution.
4. A minimum 3.0 GPA on a four-point scale in undergraduate studies.
5. A current resume or vita.
6. Three professional references.
7. Essay describing the personal and professional goals that will be met by completion of the degree.

Key Faculty
Anita Leach, J.D., LL.M.
Ms. Leach is the Executive Director of the St. Louis Federal Executive Board. She developed the Law in Higher Education course and has taught it since October 2014. She previously taught Legal Research and Writing for Non-Lawyers at Southern Illinois University School of Law and has been a member of the Illinois Bar since 1999.
She served as an officer in the Air Force for over 20 years. While on active duty, she acquired extensive leadership experience in small and large organizations, as well as expertise in human resources; law; education and training; public speaking; legislative research and drafting; policy development and implementation; military readiness; and investigative methods.
