First-Year International Applicants
First-year International applicants must submit the following documents to be considered
for admission.
1. Application for Admission.
You will need to complete and submit an application for First-Year admission. The
free application is available here. You may also download a paper copy.
2. Official secondary school transcripts.
You will need to submit an official copy of your secondary school transcripts and
completion certificate. All transcripts must be translated into the English language.
3. Proof of English Proficiency (one of the following):
All international students must provide proof of English Proficiency by meeting one
of the following qualifications.
A. Standardized Test Results
ACT English - 20
Duolingo English Test - 90
IELTS - 6.0
Pearson Test of English - 52
SAT Critical Reading - 500
TOEFL Paper Based - 520
Computer Based - 190
Internet Based - 70
B. Prior academic coursework which includes the successful completion of a US University/College English course that is equivalent to ENG 111 - Academic Writing. English for non-native speakers does not meet this requirement.
C. Successful completion of an approved Intensive English Language Program.
D. Students who have a high school diploma or university/college degree from an accredited school from the following countries may qualify for waiver of the English language proficiency requirement:
