What is the Senior Class Gift?
The Senior Class Gift (SCG) encompasses a proud tradition of senior classes making a gift to McKendree University’s Annual Fund. Every graduating class member is asked to make a gift of $20.24 in support of their alma mater.
What is the Annual Fund?
Annual Fund donations better the lives of McKendree students by supporting areas where
the need is the greatest. These areas include student scholarships and financial aid,
academic instruction, student services, and more!
How can I participate?
Making your Senior Class Gift is quick and easy! Just click on the "Make A Gift Now" button in the left colum. You can also visit the Alumni House or find the Senior Class Gift committee at events throughout the year.
You can also be involved by becoming a Senior Class Gift committee member! Join the
committee that support student philanthropy and leaving a legacy at McKendree. Interested
seniors should contact annual_fund@mckendree.edu or (618) 537-6824.
How will the Senior Class Gift benefit me?
Just like students that came before you, you are paying it forward to future McKendree students. Making the decision to make a difference is something that you should be very proud of. Carrying on the tradition of giving back to McKendree is a statement of appreciation as well as commitment to the future of the institution.
Also, being involved as a Senior Class Gift committee member gives you great experience in student leadership and fundraising. Being heavily involved is a great resume builder!
