Road Closures in and Around Lebanon

Visitors to campus, take note of road closures currently in and around Lebanon. Please
be patient and allow extra travel time.
A lengthy section of Belleville Street, a residential street often used as a thoroughfare
between Ill. Route 50 and the city or campus, is closed until early November. The
road is closed from St. Louis Street in downtown Lebanon to the Locust Hills Golf
Course on Belleville Street. At this time it is not possible to access the McKendree
University campus via Belleville Street or the side streets that connect to it.
Visitors coming to campus from eastbound Route 50, in the direction of O’Fallon, should
take it to Ill. Route 4 and turn left (north) at the stop sign. To get to campus,
turn left onto St. Louis Street (at the stoplight at the top of the hill), then turn
right onto Alton Street (at the stop sign).
Road construction is also under way on Ill. Route 4, north of downtown Lebanon and
south of Lebanon Road.
