McKendree is Recognized as a ‘College of Distinction’ for 2012-2013

Lebanon, Ill. — McKendree University is featured on CollegesofDistinction.com, a website dedicated to honoring schools nationwide for their excellence in student-focused higher education.

Colleges and universities are nominated for participation in Colleges of Distinction™ through high school counselors’ recommendations as well as quantitative research. Institutions are assessed on student engagement, quality of teaching, vibrancy of the college community and success of graduates. Schools featured on CollegesofDistinction.com must meet minimum standards in each category.

McKendree was found to excel in all categories and will receive a personal profile on the website. It is the only college or university in Southern Illinois to receive the honor.
