Faculty Members Earn National Certification
(LEBANON, Ill., December 23, 2014) - Two McKendree University faculty members recently
earned national professional certification for knowledge and competency in their respective
disciplines.
Dr. Richelle Rennegarbe passed the Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP)
exam administered by the America Organization of Nurse Executives. The CENP is a national
credential that distinguishes one as being among the elite of executive nurse leaders.
The examination tests knowledge required of a competent nurse executive in communication
and relationship building, the health care environment, leadership, professionalism
business skills and information management and technology.
Rennegarbe has chaired the university’s Nursing Division since 2009 and is an associate professor of nursing.
Dr. Jim Feher received professional engineering certification in computer engineering
by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). NCEES
is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure
for engineers and surveyors. It develops, administers and scores the examinations
used for engineering and surveying licensure in the U.S.
Feher is a professor in the Division of Computing.
