Recycle Electronics at McKendree University on Nov. 12
National Recycling Week is Nov. 10-16
(LEBANON, Ill., November 3, 2014) — McKendree University’s Green Team will host free
electronics recycling on Wednesday, Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Look for the truck
parked by the fitness center near the Hettenhausen Center on Alton Street in Lebanon.
If it plugs into a wall or runs on batteries, RNA Worldwide will take it free of charge.
Acceptable items are computers and monitors, audio-visual equipment, appliances, televisions,
cables, cell phones, digital cameras, batteries, speakers, scrap metal, and metal
office furniture and equipment. There is a limit of two TVs per vehicle. TVs must
not have missing plugs or broken glass. RNA Worldwide will not take chemicals, paint,
non-metal furniture, hazardous waste, wood, 100 percent plastics, bedding items, clothing
and biological waste.
