McKendree University's Nursing Program Listed Among the Best, Says Nursing Schools Almanac
(LEBANON, Ill., June 16, 2022) – McKendree University is included among the top 20
percent of nursing schools in the U.S., according to a recently released report by
Nursing Schools Almanac. It has just released its 2022 rankings of the best U.S. nursing
schools, which includes McKendree University. McKendree is ranked as 88th in the Great Lakes region, 25th in Illinois and sixth in the St. Louis metropolitan region.
“We are very pleased that Nursing Schools Almanac has ranked McKendree University
Division of Nursing within their top nursing schools for the region,” said Dr. Richelle
Rennegarbe, RN, CENP, CPPS, chair of the Division of Nursing at McKendree University.
“We are very proud of our nursing programs, and the nursing faculty are committed
to providing the highest quality nursing program for our students.”
Nursing Schools Almanac conducted a detailed assessment of nearly 3,000 nursing schools
nationwide, ranking them by their academic prestige, program breadth and depth, and
student success on nursing licensure examinations. The mission of Nursing Schools
Almanac is to provide aspiring nurses a detailed, comprehensive and analytical resource
for selecting their future nursing school. An integral part of this effort is their
annual rankings of the best nursing schools in the country.
