Electronic and Metal Recycling at McKendree on April 17
(LEBANON, Ill., April 6, 2018) — The McKendree University Green Team and J & C E-Recycling
of Belleville will sponsor an electronic recycling event on Tuesday, April 17 from
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Look for the recycling truck parked in the lot across Summerfield
St. from the softball field, in Lot D adjacent to the Fitness Center.
Anything with a plug will be accepted, as well as all computer parts, and metal items
such as lawnmowers, motors and metal office furniture. Please note that cathode ray
tube (CRT) TVs and CRT computer monitors will be charged 45 cents per pound, and console,
projection and plasma TVs will be charged 50 cents per pound. They will be weighed
on site. This is a transportation fee since the TVs must be shipped for recycling.
