The Hett Set to Conclude 2021-2022 Season with Captivating Shows, Concert
(LEBANON, Ill., March 3, 2022) – Several entertaining shows are set to take the stage
at McKendree University’s Hettenhausen Center for the Arts to finish out the 2021-2022

March 10, 7:30 p.m.: Goitse is an energetic, award-winning Irish quintet that plays traditional tunes of
their homeland and original songs. Tickets are $30 for adults, $28 for seniors and
$10 for students and children. McKendree students may attend for free.
March 19, 7:30 p.m.: The Wee Heavies are back by popular demand and ready to bring a mix of Scottish, Irish
and American folk music to the Hett. Tickets are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors and
$10 for students and children. McKendree students may attend for free.
March 22, 6 p.m.: “Anthropocene: The Human Epoch” (2018) depicts filmmakers traveling to six continents
and 20 countries in order to capture stunning images documenting the catastrophic
impact humans have made on the planet. Not rated, 1 hour, 27 minutes. Tickets are
free.
April 4, 7:30 p.m.: Pilobolus breaks down barriers between disciplines and challenges the way we think
about dance by using extraordinary speed, accuracy and strength. Tickets are $35 for
adults, $33 for seniors and $10 for students and children. McKendree students may
attend free of charge.
April 7, 7:30 p.m.: Brian Woods, classical pianist, will be performing for one night only at the Hett.
Tickets to attend the event are $10 per person.
April 20, 7:30 p.m.: Nat. Geo Live: Rae Wynn-Grant, carnivore ecologist, presents “The Secret Life of Bears.”
Dr. Wynn-Grant works in the expansive American Prairie Reserve to protect and restore
iconic wildlife populations, including North American black and grizzly bears, in
a region once known for its great number of wild animals. Tickets to the event are
$15 per person. McKendree faculty, staff and students may attend for free.
April 25, 7 p.m.: Brian Owens, Complete Gamer, is a celebration of Cardinals legend and baseball Hall
of Fame pitcher, Bob Gibson. Tickets are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors and $10 for
students and children. McKendree students may attend for free.
May 3, 7:30 p.m.: ETHEL: Documerica is a poignant and evocative meditation on America’s relationship
to our land, our resources and ourselves. This dynamic multimedia concert fuses a
multi-screen video tapestry of vintage images from 1970’s America, with music by some
of today’s most innovative and engaging composers. Documerica creates a compelling
snapshot of a tumultuous era that powerfully connects to environmental and social
issues in our own time. Tickets are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors and $10 for students
and children. McKendree students can attend for free.
