Soulful Performances, Jazz Swing, More Coming to the Hett This March
(LEBANON, Ill., February 21, 2022) – A military brass quintet, a local vocalist making
her debut, a much-loved jazz swing band, and a back-by-popular-demand rock ‘n’ roll
show are coming to the Hett this March. Additionally, theatre students from McKendree
will be putting on the must-see play “Silent Sky” at the end of the month. For tickets

March 1, 7 p.m.: Airlifter Brass is a brass quintet of the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America. With the traditional
instrumentation of two trumpets, French horn, trombone and tuba plus percussion, the
ensemble is known for its versatility and outstanding musicianship. Tickets are free
and reservations are required.
March 4, 7 p.m.: Anita Jackson is a soulful and swinging premier vocalist from St. Louis who will make her debut
on the Hett stage.
March 10, 7:30 p.m.: Tuba Skinny arrives right off the streets of New Orleans and is dedicated to bringing the best
in traditional early jazz swing to audiences around the world.
March 23, 7:30 p.m.: Neil Berg’s 50 Years of Rock and Roll, Part 2 is back by popular demand and ready to take audiences on a musical journey from the
1950s to today.
March 30, 10 a.m.; March 31, 7:30 p.m.; April 1, 7:30 p.m., April 2, 2:30 p.m.: McKendree
Theatre presents Silent Sky. People of all ages are invited to see Silent Sky, a production by the theatre students
at McKendree. Admission is $5 with reduced prices for groups.
