(SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky., October 6, 2015) - McKendree University will offer courses toward
a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Bullitt Central High School College
and Career Center in Shepherdsville, starting in January 2016.
“McKendree University is known for high quality education and premier customer service.
We are excited to provide Bullitt County residents with the opportunity to take classes
and earn their degree close to home,” said Christian Blome, executive director of
the university’s Kentucky campuses. “We offer a flexible and affordable opportunity
for adults who want to pursue their degree at night without giving up their day jobs.
With classes running every month, students can start classes when it works for their
schedule.”
Students can complete a course in one month, three days a week. Classes will begin
on January 4, 2016, and meet on Monday-Wednesday-Friday or Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday
from 6 to 9:40 p.m. The Friday and Saturday classes are held online.
Courses to be offered in January are Principles of Financial Accounting and Religions
of the World. Participating students earn three college credit hours upon successful
completion of either course. Tuition is $360 per credit hour. Scholarships and financial
aid are available to students who qualify. For additional flexibility, a student can
register and start taking classes at the beginning of any month throughout the year,
rather than waiting until the beginning of a semester.
