Lowery to Speak at Lanter Lecture at McKendree on Oct. 24
(LEBANON, Ill., October 18, 2016) — Christopher R. Lowery will speak at the Wayne
E. Lanter Lecture Series on Monday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. at McKendree University, in
Room 222 of Piper Academic Center. The Lanter Lecture Series invites influential business
leaders and entrepreneurs to share their insight and strategies for success. Admission
is free and the public is welcome to attend.
Lowery is the managing director of Northwestern Mutual in Fairview Heights, as well
as a wealth management advisor. He began his career with Northwestern Mutual in 1995
and has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and
Chartered Advisor for Senior Living professional designations.
His expertise includes wealth management, trust services, investment strategies, financial
planning, employee and executive benefits planning, and retirement planning. He has
received numerous company and industry awards during his career, including National
Sales Achievement Award (1999, 2001, 2003-2015), Million Dollar Round Table Qualifying/Life
Member (2009-2015), Million Dollar Round Table Qualifying Member (2000-2008) and National
Quality Award (2000-2015).
A resident of O’Fallon, Lowery earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from
Miami University. He serves as a board member for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Southwestern
Illinois, the United Way and the Christian Activity Center. He is also involved with
the Belleville and O’Fallon Chambers of Commerce and the “Get to Know Me” campaign.
