McKendree Holds Third-Annual McKids Event Dec. 14

(LEBANON, Ill., Dec. 16, 2024) – McKendree University held its third-annual McKids Christmas celebration on Saturday, Dec. 14 at Ames Dining Hall on campus.

Hosted by McKendree University President Daniel C. Dobbins and his wife, Mickey Dobbins, this special event featured crafts, cookies, and a special visit from Bogey the Elf, who got in on the cheer by taking photos with the children and their families. Children also took time to write heartfelt letters to Santa, and those who were under the age of 10 received free goodie bags.

Members of the McKendree University choir also made an appearance to bring the festive holiday cheer by singing carols.
