A National Higher Education Advertising Award for McKendree
(LEBANON, Ill., March 15, 2016) — McKendree University has received a Gold Award for
its science building informational booklet entered in the nation’s largest education
advertising competition. Entries in the 31st Annual Educational Advertising Awards
were judged on exceptional quality, creativity and message effectiveness by a national
panel of industry specialists.
The 16-page booklet was created by Ed Vernon, the university’s graphic designer, and printed by Stolze Printing Company of St. Louis. It explains the need to renovate Voigt Science Building, includes architectural renderings,
and compares existing and proposed floor plans. McKendree University is raising money
for the science building and “save the date” cards have been sent for a campaign kick-off
to be announced formally in May.
The annual Education Advertising Awards are sponsored by the Atlanta-based Higher
Education Marketing Report.
