Intramural Gym info and Hours

We invite you to visit the Intramural Gym, located on the north side of the Melvin Price Convention Center on the campus of McKendree. There you will find a versatile facility that houses two full basketball courts, complete with a total of six goals. The Intramural gym also has two volleyball courts, plus court space to allow for other sports such as badminton and floor hockey. Other features within the facility are men's and women's restrooms and locker rooms to store your personal items, plus shower rooms.

If you have specific equipment needs, please stop at the Equipment Desk. With proper identification, you can check out a variety of items ranging from basketball equipment to frisbees, board games, and so much more! Our friendly staff will be more than happy to assist you with your recreational needs.

 

EQUIPMENT DESK HOURS:

Sunday-Friday: 5 p.m.-11 p.m.

Saturday:  1pm-7pm

 

PLEASE NOTE:

• It is possible that the gym may be open for extended hours due to programming requiring additional time.
   
• Floor locations may not be available due to scheduled practices or events.
   
• To check out equipment outside of the normal desk hours, please visit the Campus Recreation Office at the Intramural Gym.  Various items will also be available at The Lair.

 

CHECKING GYM AVAILABILITY:

A printed gym schedule will also be available outside the Campus Recreation Office on the bulletin board.
