Deficiencies for Elementary Education


The MAT Elementary licensure program requires students to have undergraduate coursework completed, with a C or better, in the following areas:

  • ENG 111 and 112 (or equivalent),
  • College Algebra or higher,
  • World Geography and American Government, and
  • Science (one lab and one non-lab).

Your transcripts will be reviewed for any deficiencies you may have after your admission file is complete.
