McKendree’s First-Year Introduction program is the first step to becoming a successful college student. This program is designed to help you transition to life at McKendree, both academically and socially.
FYI Registration & Session Dates
First-Year Introduction (F.Y.I.) will be held in both in-person and virtual formats
in 2024. No matter which format works best for you, the event experience will include
the following:

One-on-one advising meeting to discuss course schedule and academic plan.

Presentations with Student Service Offices -- Student Financial Services, Residence Life, Campus Activities and Student Success.

Opportunity to start interacting with other new Bearcats.
To get started with F.Y.I., please complete the following:

Submit your deposit ($200 commuter or $400 resident)

In person sessions are recommended as size and sessions are limited for virtual events.

Saturday, April 20 -- 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Thursday, May 30 -- 9:00 am to 4:00 pm -- session full
Thursday, June 13 -- 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Thursday, July 11 -- 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Virtual Sessions
Tuesday, June 18 -- 9:00 am to 1:30 pm -- session full
Friday, August 2 -- 9:00 am to 1:30 pm - session full
