Applying for Aid
The process of applying for financial aid at McKendree is simple:
File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), requesting that the results are sent to McKendree. (Our code number for this form
is: 001722). This is the same form that will be required at every other college at which you
apply for financial aid.
You can complete the FAFSA electronically or by submitting the paper application. It is recommended you complete
the FAFSA, as soon as possible, after January 1 of the year you plan to enroll in
college. Once you have completed the FAFSA, you will receive a Student Aid Report
(SAR), which provides each college with your expected family contribution (EFC).
This figure is used to determine your eligibility for aid.
We strongly recommend creating a file for all of your financial aid documents. We
also emphasize keeping a copy of every document you submit to either McKendree or
other organizations.
