Teaching for Excellence

The Teaching For Excellence (T4E) program is a professional development program for
faculty and academic staff. Each year, we offer at least three T4E workshops.
In August and January, we hold a large workshop for full-time and part-time faculty
members and academic staff. It includes a pre-workshop discussion, a welcome session,
and "break-out" sessions on various teaching and learning topics. The August and January
workshops typically take place on the Tuesday before the start of the academic semester.
In May, we host the annual "Closing the Loop" workshop specifically designed to share
assessment data and make recommendations for changes and improvements based on the
data. The May workshop usually occurs on the Thursday or Friday after graduation.
Each semester, we offer new workshops and topics so there is something for everyone.
