New Programs & Majors
Four new graduate programs, a 3+3 law program, and four undergraduate majors were
launched this fall.
The Master of Arts in Criminal Justice program is geared toward students who want
to further their careers in criminal justice or their education at the doctoral level.
The program is offered both online and on campus.
The Doctor of Nursing Practice in Ethical Leadership program is designed for advanced nursing leaders who will drive
the future of healthcare. The program is offered online.
The Ed.S. in Superintendent Licensure program is designed for educators interested in advanced
study and preparation for superintendent/PEL administrative licensure.
The Master of Arts in Teaching Middle School Education program consists of professional
education coursework in mathematics, English/language arts, social science or science
for licensure.
McKendree and Saint Louis University School of Law have partnered to offer a 3+3 Law
Program. The program will allow eligible McKendree students to apply to SLU's School
of Law in their junior year. The applicants who successfully complete one year of
the J.D. program will then satisfy the remaining requirements for a bachelor's degree
at McKendree.
